Mid-Norway European Office is organising a seminar on sustainable maritime transport on the 28th of November from 0900 to 1100 at Norway House on Rue Archimède, Brussels.

The main speaker of the event is Trøndelag County Authority, presenting their project aiming to develop the world’s first emission-free high-speed boats for public transport. The project that has received a lot of attention nationally and internationally, is part of the official program at the 2019 Annual Polis Conference. To spread knowledge about the project and what it teaches about the opportunities for innovation through public procurement, Trøndelag County Authority will share their experiences and discuss the project with the attendees.

Speakers also include the Head of Unit for Innovation and Research in DG MOVE, Robert Missen, Mission of Norway to the EU’s Counsellor for Trade, Industry and Fisheries, Tymon Bugajski, Aviation & Shipping Campaigner for Transport & Environment, Dr. Lucy Gilliam and Trøndelag County Authority.
