RIS3 Maritime Dimension

The Sea holds strong potential for economic growth in Europe. The European Union’s investment potential in this area is largely dependent on the mobilisation of regional policy, which is the EU’s main investment Policy. The CPMR has analysed this potential by looking at the maritime dimension of 112 Research and Innovation Smart Specialisation Strategies (RIS3), which guide investments related to regional policy.
