European Committee of the Regions asks regions to respond to survey on impacts of Brexit

/, Regional and Partners News/European Committee of the Regions asks regions to respond to survey on impacts of Brexit

The European Committee of the Regions (CoR) is asking the CPMR’s member regions to contribute to a short survey on the potential impact that the UK’s withdrawal from the EU may have on EU27 regions and cities.

The survey is being conducted jointly by the CoR and Eurochambres to gather the views of regions, cities, and/or chambers of commerce, on what the UK’s withdrawal from the EU would mean from a social and economic perspective for regional and local authorities in the EU27.

The survey is specifically addressed to representatives of local and regional authorities, chambers of commerce, or other stakeholders at regional and local level.

The results of this survey are scheduled for publication in January – February 2018 in a joint report by the CoR and Eurochambres that will be shared with all respondents.

The results will feed into the CoR Territorial Impact Assessment and ongoing political debates on the same topic.

You can respond to the survey here. Respondents can choose their preferred language via the drop-down menu. The survey is open until 15 December 2017.
