saferseas2015-brestBlue growth, climate change and the challenges for sailing as well as marine activities are the main themes of the Safer Seas 2015 conference that will take place from 26 to 30 October 2015 in Brest (FR).

This international conference offers a one-of-its-kind, multi-sector approach for decision-makers, institutional stakeholders, maritime professionals and operators, enterprises, research institutes and students.

The event is organised by Brest Métropole, in coordination with the Technopôle Brest-Iroise and with the support of Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique, the European Union and Brittany Region.

The CPMR will contribute to the discussions with Damien Perissé, Director in charge of maritime affairs, who will moderate a Round table on “Increasing size and technicality of cargo ships, container carriers and passenger ships”, as well as with Patrick Anvroin, Director in charge of transport, who will moderate the Session on “Development and management of port activities”.
